"The more I learn about philanthropy in the class, the more interested I’ve become. It is an excellent opportunity to learn about the different aspects and impact of giving from books and being able to apply it to our life. I was able to distinguish between many different types of philanthropy and the philosophy of the people who were interested in researching and working in this field.
The class offered a new perspective of analyzing the reality and the old and new vision of improving people's life. The practical aspect of our learning also added more value to our project and team working, such as working together in developing an agreement about our grant proposal, meeting with a representative of an organization, and working in a professional form of teamwork. This course was eye-opening and allowed me to discover the great need of the world around us and the application of philanthropy on every act and in many ways, in order to be able to serve our community and improve our relationship with people around our life."
